GLOBAL SUPERSTAR ADAM LAMBERT RELEASES SINGLE “NEVER CLOSE OUR EYES”
NEW ALBUM, TRESPASSING, SET FOR RELEASE, MAY 15TH (*US date, Intl dates may vary)
(New York, New York) – Global superstar Adam Lambert releases single, “Never Close Our Eyes” off his highly anticipated new album, TRESPASSING. The track, which was written and produced by Bruno Mars and Dr. Luke, will be available April 17th via iTunes as an instant grat for anyone who pre-orders the deluxe version of TRESPASSING.
TRESPASSING, due out on RCA Records/19 Recordings on May 15th, will be available in a 12 track standard edition as well as a deluxe edition with 3 additional bonus tracks. In addition to co-writing many of the tracks, Lambert collaborated with an all star list of award winning artists, producers and songwriters including Pharrell Williams, Claude Kelly, Benny Blanco, Bonnie McKee, Nile Rogers, Sam Sparro and the aforementioned Dr. Luke and Bruno Mars.
Since the release of Lambert’s debut album For Your Entertainment in 2009 it has sold nearly 2 million copies worldwide. Lambert was nominated for a Grammy for Best Male Pop Vocal Performance for “Whataya Want From Me” in 2010 and also released the Glam Nation Live CD/DVD and Acoustic Live! EPs. He is first +American Idol to ever tour the world in support of their debut album in the year following their IDOL season. In November of this year, Adam took to the stage in the finale of the MTV European Music Awards to sing lead vocals with Queen, who were being honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award. Their captivating performance is widely regarded to be the highlight of the entire EMA ceremony and an indication of the outstanding years ahead in the career of Adam Lambert.

And the first single from the collection, Never Close Our Eyes, out on June 24, has been written by BRIT winner Bruno Mars.
Adam, 30, told me: “It can’t hurt me that the Nineties are becoming trendy again.
“I went there because that’s what inherently locked into my musical subconscious, as it’s what I grew up with.
“This album borrows so much from my first pop influences. I was listening to George Michael, Michael Jackson, Queen – I know Queen aren’t Nineties, but that’s when I got into them – and house music.
We have the sneaking suspicion this one might be headed to radio on Monday, but Australia's Glamberts are today rejoicing the digital release of the second single from Adam's forthcoming album 'Trespassing'.
A return to dance-pop was inevitable for Glambert, but thankfully that big beautiful voice of his is still coming through loud and clear. “Never Close Our Eyes” may have the kind of production that you’d expect from a Flo-rida or Taio Cruz song, but Glambert still sings over the beat like a rock star and once again proves that he’s the best male pop vocalist in the game today.

Can't wait for May 15th-planning a long ride in the country with my CD player blasting Trespassing to the cows! LOL! I love NCOE-despite the bells and whistles Adams voice still comes through loud and clear. And that's why we're here, right? His VOICE is magic!
